Today’s educational system is very different from years ago. Technological advancements have made for an innovative and creative society that has been completely modified over time. It is amazing to see the changes that have been implemented. It is crazy to see how far we have come!
Randomizing Your life?
After watching the Max Hawkens ted talk and listening to his experience with the randomization algorithm, I can definitely say I am interested. He explained that it took him to places like Iowa where he otherwise would not have even given a chance to go and see. I am very spontaneous and I like to get out of my comfort zone. For someone who likes the same routine everyday and is scared to try new things, this would not be for them. But, if you feel like you are bored with your life and have enough money to travel, I would recommend checking out this style of living, even if it is for a short period of time. You only have one life- who knows what the world holds for you!
Ways to Utilize Photoshop for Printing on Items
There is no doubt that printed photoshop items can leave certain consumers in awe, wondering how someone made the item that they did. Some of these products include:
- Personalized photos
- T-shirts & wearable items
- Personalized notebooks
- Personalized blankets
- Personalized bags
- Personalized water bottles and cups
You can even use it to make things like pillows or socks with yours or someone else face on it. The possibilities with photoshopped items are endless!
Coronavirus Conspiracy
As of right now, the coronavirus is spreading around the world like wildfire and many people have disagreeing opinions on it. A new concern that has been brought up is if the virus was produced in a lab somewhere and that a vaccine already exists. This conspiracy was debunked by various sources, but it has also been backed up by others. It makes one wonder if there are cruel people out there capable of abusing their power and knowledge to help what they think is for the common good- decreasing the overwhelming amount of people living in China as of 2020. Personally, I believe it could be possible. If there are resources to follow through with such an act, why wouldn’t they do this? I am not saying I know for a fact that it is true, but it is not crazy to claim the validity of such an argument.
DEEP FAKES
I think that this video shows how advanced technology really is now. People can easily take someone else’s identity and claim ownership over it. It is interesting to see how far technology has come, and what people can do with it. This video regarding deepfakes was enlightening, but scary.

Deep fakes are frightening.
Toolbox and Free Thought
I think that the video we watched in class was interesting because it was so random. In relation to the class, I think it is a representation of some of the work that we will learn to do ourselves like creating audio and projects on our own. It showed words around the screen and I believe we will obtain new skills with this class to create works of art such as the one we saw in class via technology.

BLOG POSTS
Be yourself; Everyone else is already taken.

This is the first post on my new blog. I’m just getting this new blog going, so stay tuned for more. Subscribe below to get notified when I post new updates.
Introduce Yourself (Example Post)
This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.
You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
- Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
- Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
- Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
- What topics do you think you’ll write about?
- Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
- If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
